One of my plans for this portfolio that I'm planning to showcase here is to put projects using Python. Since I started in the statistician / advanced analytics career, R has been more than enough to carry me over all my needs, but right now is too niche, and it looks like employers don't value advanced R skills enough. It makes sense to value more Python programming skills, but I'm a little salty about that.
Still, I'm very lucky that right now I have the opportunity of using / learning Python in a few projects that I was assigned at work. But man, I'm in the part of learning a second programming language where I know how to do it in my first programming language, how to properly structure my solution, but not enough function / keyword knowledge in Python to achieve it.
Without a doubt, there is no shortcut learning a new programming language.
